Pregnancy: Maggie has over a decade of experience treating pain during pregnancy and has worked closely with midwives and OB practitioners in Homer to deliver excellent results with skill and sensitivity in a comfortable, homey environment. As a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist Maggie can treat common causes of pregnancy pain including low back pain, SI joint pain, pain in pubic symphysis and low abdomen, and pain or swelling in the legs.

Did you know that almost all your internal organs get squeezed over to make room for that beautiful baby? Even the heart is documented to be pushed up and tilted during pregnancy, but Maggie can help gently mobilize the organs and to allow them to return to pre-baby positioning. With years of experience teaching and supporting women’s bodies to release pregnancy posture and body restrictions, Maggie treats diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, painful intercourse, low back pain, upper back pain, post-pregnancy numbness in arms or legs, cesarean scars, pelvic floor tears, and hernias. With Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certification, Maggie can work with you to restore body balance, learn how to train your pelvic floor, and re-manage pressure in the body for lifting, coughing, sneezing, jumping, return to sport, and healthy bowel movements.
